The Facility of Education

There are many options for education in big cities. There are many universities and colleges. In big cities, there are many schools both public and private. These arrangements are not available in smaller towns or villages.

Medical Facility

There are also enough medical facilities in cities. Nearly every city has good hospitals where the poor can get treatment and medicines for free. There are many qualified doctors available to help the poor and the suffering. This is the biggest drawback of villages.

Amusements and Recreation

There are many recreational and amusement opportunities in cities. There are multiplexes and cinema houses in every city. These can be enjoyed with the family. There are many restaurants and hotels that offer a wide range of food options. You can also enjoy the best of nature’s beauty at many parks and gardens. These facilities are often lacking in villages.

Opportunities for Employment

Cities offer huge opportunities for employment, which is one of their greatest advantages. These cities are hubs of commerce and trade, as well as offices for many multinational corporations. People with different qualifications will find work that suits them. Most jobs in villages are found in agriculture. A large number of villages have only seasonal jobs due to farming.

Mixed Culture

There are many cultures represented in cities. Villages, however, are a great place to see the real India and its customs.

Natural Environment

Villages are naturally occurring because of their own creation by nature. However, many cities are built by man. The main attraction of villages is the natural environment. Only in villages can we enjoy the beauty of the morning-dawn or the charms offered by birds and flowers.

Pollution and adulteration

Due to noise pollution, air pollution, and water pollution, city life has become extremely unhealthy. People don’t get fresh air to breathe and the sun to enjoy their lives. Food in cities is often unhealthy, contaminated, and even adulterated. These drawbacks are much less prevalent in villages.

Population and other issues

It is expensive to live in a city. It is not possible to live in a city without a lot of show and pomp. It is nearly impossible to live a simple life in the city as it is in rural areas. It is difficult to find suitable accommodation in cities, and the population is already overcrowded. The city’s residents are not able to show much empathy for their neighbors or with other people. In the city, there is a complete lack of the close interdependence and sympathy that is evident in village life.

Conclusion

So, there are two sides to the story of life in cities and villages. Both have their positive and negative sides. It is up to each individual to make the most out of them, regardless of where they live. Personally, I prefer to live in a small village near a large city so I can have both the city and village pleasures.
