Subhash Chandra Bose’s contribution to the Indian Independence

Subhash Chandra Bose participated in the Civil Disobedience Movement. Subhash Chandra Bose was then able to join the Indian Independence movement. He was elected to the Indian National Congress (INC). He was also elected party president in 1939. This was however temporary due to his resignation.

Subhash Chandra Bose was placed under house arrest by the British. Because he opposed British rule, he was placed under house arrest. He managed to escape the country secretly in 1941, thanks to his intelligence. To fight the British, he went to Europe. He sought out the assistance of Germans and Russians to defeat the British.

Subhash Chandra Bose, a Japanese national, started the formation of India’s National Army. He also created a provisional government.
